The scholarship is a grant given to the student to continue the education. Basically scholarships are provided to the aspirants, who are blessed with excellent knowledge and always keeps their track on merit, but cannot afford for higher studies. Since they are below poverty level, with the help of scholarships they can go ahead and fulfill their dreamed academic career.
Scholarship Objectives:
To stimulate awareness and interest in education
To meliorate economic efficiency, which is an important factor for poverty reduction
To attain a stronger economy & to increase prosperity
To create an enlightened society
To bring the economic and social development of nation
To prepare responsive and responsible citizens
To promote the values of Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development in younger generation
To develop in a perspective of looking at life
To play a fundamental role in personal and social development
To increase the implications of diet and lifestyle on their health enabling them to make healthy choices, thus impacting the increase of lifespan
To develop problem solving skills and consequently get the people better equipped to handle everyday decisions
Funding
This scholarship program is funded with a major share from TULASI SEEDS PRIVATE LIMITED and from other Donors.
Amount
The amount of scholarship will range from Rs:1,000/- to Rs:10,000/- for one academic year in a single payment.
Administration
Screening and selection of candidates will be done by a Scholarship Selection Committee. The number of individual scholarships awarded, if any, is at the discretion of managing trustee, Mr.Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu & his decision in this regard is final. The scholarship funds can be used for tuition fees, and books in the full-time pursuit of a college degree.
Application Instructions
Each applicant is responsible for the correctness of all the enclosures being received by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
Governing Rules
This scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable grant. Any tax obligation arising from the award is the responsibility of the recipient
Applicants must be full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently enrolled in colleges
No application will be considered until all details have been received by the Scholarship Selection Committee on or before October 10th every year
Applications received after October 10th will not be considered
This scholarship is awarded for the purpose of attending a specific institution to study the stated course. The recipient may not transfer to another institution or field of study during the award year except by prior approval of the Scholarship Selection Committee
The students should have to inform, of any change of address, after disbursement of the scholarship, to the Scholarship Selection Committee
Each applicant is personally responsible for meeting all application deadlines. This scholarship is awarded without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap status
All applicants must be residents and students within the geographic area of India.
